Costco’s stock changes from time to time in order for the retailer to offer its customers the best deals. As a result, there are times when the big box store will no longer sell some of your favorite items. That is perhaps why you won’t find these 10 things on Costco’s shelves anymore.
10. Polish Hot Dogs
Costco decided in 2018 to remove the beloved Polish hot dog from its food court menu in favor of healthier items like açai fruit bowls, organic burgers and the Al Pastor Salad, and also to help simplify their menu. “We have decided to offer only the all-beef Hot Dog. Sales show this is what the majority of members prefer. Though we understand many members loved the Polish Dog, we hope you enjoy our new offerings,” the company said on its website. Needless to say, fans weren’t too thrilled, and many took to Twitter to vent. “My entire childhood is eating a polish hot dog after shopping at Costco… [I’m] genuinely mad,” one Twitter user posted. “I’m still not over #Costco getting rid of their polish hot dog. Like why?! #why,” another user tweeted.
