Have you ever wanted to shop at Costco but didn’t want to shell out the money for an annual membership? Say no more.
Continue reading to find out several ways you can shop at Costco without being a member.
10. Take Advantage of Costco’s Health Services
You don’t need to be a Costco member to take advantage of their eye exams, hearing screenings, and immunizations (flu vaccine).
Unfortunately, that’s about as far as it goes. If you want to actually purchase eyeglasses, contact lenses or hearing aids, you will need to purchase a Costco membership.
Well, that’s one option, anyway. You could also find a member who’d be willing to purchase these items for you, and you reimburse them later. TIP: If you have a loaded Costco Shop Card in your possession, you could give it to your friend to pay for your eyewear.
ALL TIME TIP: Not all Costco locations have an optical department. You’ll need to contact your local store to find out if they have one.
9. Use a Business Account
As you may already know, Costco has memberships available for businesses. And, if you happen to work at a company that has a Costco business membership, you could use your employer’s card to make personal purchases.
Now, we’re not saying to take your employer’s card while they aren’t looking and go on a shopping spree. We’re not even saying you should ask your employer if you can use the card.
All we’re saying is that if your employer happens to send you to Costco to pick up some office supplies, you might be able to make some purchases for yourself, too. So find out from your employer beforehand if that sort of thing is okay.
