8. Use a Delivery Service
Did you know that you can use a delivery service like Instacart to shop at Costco on your behalf even if you don’t have a membership? Yep, it’s true!
Not only that, but the service will deliver your items right to your home. This can be a great way to stock up on grocery items at Costco.
However, keep in mind that services like Instacart and Google Express aren’t available in every city. These services aren’t free either. But, it could be worth it, especially if you plan on buying bulk items.
7. Buy Alcohol
Costco, or any other warehouse club for that matter, cannot legally limit alcohol purchases to members. At least that’s the case in about a dozen states, anyway.
You’ll have to check the laws in your state to see if you can purchase alcohol at Costco without a membership.
If so, you will need to explain to the door attendant that you’re a non-member who’s there to purchase alcohol.
ALL TIME TIP: Some Costco locations have a separate entrance to their alcoholic beverage department.
