12. Frozen Fruity Breakfasts
Fruit-based breakfast treats such as blueberry pancakes and waffles are not necessarily healthy for you.
The fruit content is so low compared to the amount of sugar and sodium present that the breakfast item is far from nutritious.
A healthier option is to add fresh fruits to the top of your favorite pancakes and waffles after preparing them.
11. Rice
Buying frozen cooked rice is a lot more expensive than dry, uncooked rice. Cooking rice is not a difficult task, so save your money to buy your meat and vegetable dish ingredients to go with it.
If time is an issue, when you are not in a hurry, you can prepare a large batch of rice and then freeze it in multiple bags/containers. You save so much money and time. Plus, you’ll have more of the nonperishable rice in your pantry for later use.
