Sardinia, Italy
Located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Sardinia is mostly a mountainous region, although it lacks high peaks. What it does have is lots of charm. Its natural contrasts, lights, and colors leave visitors in awe. The region is also rich in flora and fauna, including mouflons, golden eagles, Sardinian deer, and several other species that are now, unfortunately, threatened with extinction. There are forests with thousand-year-old trees, marshes inhabited by deer, wild horses, rapacious birds, and even an enchanting cove that resembles the antlers of a deer!
