Sri Lanka
Dubbed by Marco Polo as one of the finest islands in the world, Sri Lanka has many beautiful sights, including beaches, jungles, temples, statues, archaeological sites, tea plantations, tall mountains, charming colonial towns, and well-preserved ruins.
Located on the island’s southeast coast is Yala National Park, an important sanctuary for Sri Lankan elephants and aquatic birds. It’s also home to the highest concentration of leopards in the world. Other wildlife that can be found there include monkeys and crocodiles.
