Victor Feguer had an almost poetic reasoning behind his final meal. He ordered a single pitted olive, and claimed that his hope was that a tree symbolizing peace would sprout from his grave. After his execution by hanging in 1963, the pit was found in his suit pocket. Feguer was convicted of the murder of Dr. Edward Bartels.

James Edwards Smith committed murder during the robbery of an insurance company. His first request for a final meal was rhaeakunda dirt, which is associated with the practice of voodoo. Aileen Carol Wuornos, who’s life was depicted by Charlize Theron in the movie Monster, was put on death row for the murder of seven men. All seven of the men had been shot at point blank range. She was executed in 2002 by lethal injection, and while she denied her offer of a final meal, she did enjoy a single cup of coffee the night before her execution.

Charles Rumbaugh was sentenced to death following the murder of a man during a botched jewelry store burglary.
